One Enormous Advantage to being a small breeder is the ability to be able to devote a tremendous amount of time, attention and preparation with each and every one of our puppies. We only have a few litters a year, not a number litters at the same time. We truly invest in your furry family member to promote the easiest transition to your home and the best overall pet. Here are some of the ways we produce the best companions:
Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)
ENS is a bio-sensory program originally developed by the military. The program aids in producing very well adapted dogs. 5 benefits observed from practicing ENS are:
- Improved cardio performance
- Stronger heartbeats
- Stronger adrenal glands
- More tolerance to stress
- Greater resistance to disease

Crate training your puppy is a good thing! It is not cruel if you properly approach the concept. Here at Lake Breeze Labradoodles, the process of crate training is initiated at 6 weeks of age to make it a positive environment for your puppy and to make the adjustment to a their new home as stress-free as possible. The benefits of crate training:
- Critical for successful Potty training
- They feel more secure in a “den-like” space
- Transportation is easier and safer
- Keeps your puppy and your furniture/shoes/plants, etc safe
- Recovery from any medical care is optimal in a controlled environment
Yes, you really can successfully begin the housebreaking process before 8 weeks of age. Lake Breeze Labradoodles will work with your puppy to promote the proper environment and habits to begin a successful housebreaking process, beginning at 3 days old when ENS is initiated. They will actually be taken outside so they can feel the different textures and temperatures that can sometimes be a surprise to them once you take them home if they have only been in an indoor breeding facility. Housebreaking is a frustrating process but with the proper foundation provided here at Lake Breeze, your puppy will be accident free and you will be stress free much sooner.
NO Early Spay/Neuter
Many breeders send their puppies home already having gone through a spay or neuter surgery because that is easiest for them to have control of the breeder market. Research shows that early spay/neuter is detrimental to the dog’s long term health. Just imagine if you weren’t able to go through puberty! Hormones play an important role in body’s (human & dog) growth and development. Lake Breeze Labradoodles is willing invest the extra time to follow up on spay/neuter contracts to give your dog the best health possible. Follow this link to view some of the research on this topic.
